Workshop Overview
Introduction to Stream Processing with Hazelcast (20 minutes)
This segment provides the conceptual foundations needed to successfully implement stream processing solutions with Hazelcast. We will cover the basic elements of a Pipeline: sources, sinks, map (variants such as usingService, usingIMap), aggregations, filters.
Hands On Lab - Build a Stream Processing Solution (50 minutes)
In this segment, participants will be guided through the development of a basic Pipeline that contains all of the essential elements of a stream processing solution, including sources, sinks, mappings, aggregations, and filters. Hazelcast experts will be available in person and online to help participants work through problems.
Hands On Lab - Scaling Up with Viridian Serverless (20 minutes)
In this segment, participants will deploy their solution to a serverless Viridian cluster and monitor it under load using the Hazelcast Management Center.
