Topic: From Monolithic to Micro-Services, with an In-memory Data Grid

Speaker: Joe Sherwin – Senior Solutions Architect

This talk is designed for Java Developers looking to transform monolithic applications to enable cloud deployment using an In-Memory Data Grid (IMDG). By the end of the discussion the attendee will understand how to use in-memory data caching and partitioning to transform legacy systems into horizontal scalability cloud deployable services.

The candidates should be familiar with Core Java concepts and APIs (collections, concurrency). Attendees will be introduced to the fundamental features of Hazelcast and how they are applied to solve scalability issues. This talk is suitable for Developers and Architects with no prior or very basic knowledge of In-memory data grids.
